The Audi e-tron SUV will be sold here in a couple of body styles -- e-tron and e-tron Sportback. While the e-tron will be available in e-tron 50 and e-tron 55 variants, the e-tron Sportback will have a single e-tron 55 variant.

The bookings for the Audi e-tron had opened in India towards the end of last month for an initial amount of Rs 5 lakh. The bookings can be made either at Audi India dealerships or through the automaker's official website.

The luxury electric SUV boasts features like a platinum grey single-frame grille, Matrix LED headlamps and LED taillamps. It is equipped with a four-zone air conditioning system, progressive steering, adaptive air suspension and Quattro permanent all-wheel drive as standard. In comparison to e-tron's more traditional, straight roofline, the e-tron Sportback has a sloping roofline, like that of a coupe.

The Audi e-tron comes with two electric motors, one on each axle. In the e-tron 50, the motors are paired with a 71kW battery and develop 308hp of max power and 540Nm of peak torque. The claimed range for the e-tron 50 is 264km to 379km (WLTP cycle). The e-tron 55 gets a 95kW battery mated to dual motors that have a combined max power output of 402hp and peak torque of 664Nm. For the e-tron 55, the claimed range is 359km to 484km (WLTP cycle).
